We believe a hospital owes something to the community it serves. For more than fifteen years, Almadina has provided free and subsidised healthcare to low-income and underprivileged people in Zaria.
Why it matters
Illness and poverty feed each other. A person who is unwell cannot work, and a person who cannot work cannot pay for treatment. Helping people get care early can break that cycle and keep families together and earning.
How we help
Support is assessed case by case by hospital management, with the dignity of the patient in mind. It has included free consultations, reduced charges for tests and medicines, and health outreach in the community.
