Nursing services

Bedside care, wound care, medicines and health teaching from our nursing team.

Nurses are with patients more than anyone else in the hospital. Our nursing team works in every department: emergency, outpatients, the wards, theatre and maternity.

What our nurses do

  • Assess patients when they arrive and keep watch over their condition.
  • Give medicines and injections, and set up and monitor drips.
  • Dress wounds and care for surgical incisions.
  • Help patients eat, wash and move safely.
  • Teach patients and families how to manage at home.

Wound dressing and injections

Patients who need regular dressings or injections after discharge can return to the hospital for them. Bring your discharge summary or prescription.

Nursing education

Almadina College of Nursing Sciences trains student nurses alongside our clinical teams, under the supervision of qualified nurses.
